On Friday, March 25th, Damien English (Minister for Skills, Research & Innovation) announced Ireland will be receiving €251 million in funding from Horizon 2020. The funding from Horizon 2020 is for research and innovation.
This is great news for Ireland as this encourages more companies and organisations to conduct research and innovation in Ireland instead of having it conducted overseas.
