ABGI UK, the innovation funding arm of Visiativ, acquires Braithwaite Ireland

By admin  Published On January 24, 2023

ABGI UK, the innovation funding arm of Visiaitv, has announced the recent acquisition of Braithwaite Technology Consultants, the Republic of Ireland based R&D Tax Credit specialists.

The deal represents a significant (seven figure) investment into the Irish market, with a further investment in staff planned for 2023, more than doubling the size of the team.

With ABGI UK having already acquired Ian Farley Tax Credits (IFTC) in Northern Ireland last year, this gives Braithwaite Ireland the opportunity to partner with IFTC to provide services across two jurisdictions.

Scott Henderson, CEO at ABGI UK said:

“ABGI has helped a number of clients based in the Republic of Ireland over the years, but our ambition has always been to establish a formal presence. Braithwaite Technology Consultants is the ideal partner to do just that with; they are a customer-centric, values-driven business with a highly qualified, expert team.”

Bruce Braithwaite, Founder of Braithwaite Technology Consultants said:

“We are delighted to join the team at ABGI, who will enable our company to continue its development, enshrining similar values to those our company and our employees have always upheld: ethics, service quality and customer satisfaction. We share the same vision of our business in the service of innovation and corporate funding.”

Paired with service offerings from ABGI, a global pioneer in R&D incentives with its 400 internationally based experts, the Braithwaite team will now be able to offer:

  • a broad range of services including Grant applications, other innovation related tax incentives, and global R&D Tax incentives management services.
  • a global reach: the group is present in 11 countries including the USA, Germany, UK, France, Ireland, Brazil, Belgium, Netherlands, Switzerland, Canada.
  • enhancements to the customer experience by developing digital tools to support the customer journey.
